The Gentleman's Magazine Names 1842-1843

I watched The Young Victoria yesterday and it got me thinking of how memorable (or traumatic) the years covered in today's post much have been for Queen Victoria. There was an attempt on her life in 1842 and she had her third child, Alice Maud Mary, in 1843. Equally, these must also have been exciting years for the women below.
