A much shorter list for today. This is the second part of Marriages in Berkshire. The names below are of women married in the county of Berkshire between 1723 and 1837.

Meliday

Loveday

Dinah (she signed her name on the register as Diner)

Melody

Mahlah

Dorcos

Nanny

Beersheba

Cybele

Honour

Irene

Hephzibah

Kezia

Naomi

On the male side, the very interesting Mephibosheth popped up. An obscure and largely forgotten name, he is given to two men in the Bible. Firstly, he is the son of Saul and his concubine Rizpah. Secondly, he was the son of Jonathan and grandson of Saul. In regards to the list above, I was fascinated to come across Loveday over three times in the register. It reminds me of Tobey Maguire's daughter's middle name of Sweetheart.
